I've seen it mentioned here several times, and I really like the product. Beyond the safety aspect was the increased life of the tires. Have people seen a similar response in scooters? My Triumph Sprint rear tire went from a 4,500 mile life to 6,000+. Already ordered some for the new ride, just curious.

I use it in all my scooter and motorcycle tires.

Static balance first though; I use Marc Parnes system.

I wish I was getting that kind of life on my rear tire. I ride pretty aggressive so I go through a rear tire pretty quickly. Throttle use has a lot to do with tire wear along with how hot it is outside too. Running a sticky tire on a hot day is a disaster for tire life. I prefer a sticky tire so the life to stickiness is a decent trade-off I guess. I am almost to the end of my City Grip and just bought my new 19 500 HPE back in February. At 5300km and it is almost down to the wear bars. Again, I ride pretty aggressive. Like, I try to keep up with the sport bikes in the corners just because the front end grip is so massive. 8) 8)

Thanks for the tip OAD.

I am taking mine in on Wednesday for the 5k interval check since I bought it new and the service light is on for this check and then. I will inquire to see how much it is and if they can replace it while they have it. I am not keen on the City Grips to be honest. They are a decent tire but not to my liking.

Howdy Charles! Haven't heard from you in a while! How ya doin and how' s the Familly? My oppinion on the is that the City Grips litterally suck. When I still had Matilda I was only getting about 4 grand per set and the grip was terrible With the new Scoot I find that the Pirellis have a much better grip it is actually a pleasure going into the curves now 8) . By the way! I've already reached my first Service Interval. I'll be taking her in on the 3rd and picking her up on the 4th. Then it's fun fun fun again

my wife and daughter really enjoyed it there. Maybe Sunday if the weather is ok although it shows rain all day.

Sounds like a good idea so long as the Weather works with us. We´ll need a time and meeting point. Somewhere between you and me and I was thinking about between 9 and 11 o´clock while it´s still somewhat cooler. What do you suggest Charles?
