Aprilia windscreen on a 2007 Scarabeo. This is, as far as I'm aware the only accessory windscreen available for the new body Scarabeo 500.

See your local dealer for pricing and availability. Read the directions to be minimally frustrated during assembly/installation.

Haven't ridden it yet; it is about 4 inches shorter than the 'Tall,' windscreen on a GTS.

I have ridden with the smaller, stock adjustable windscreen for 3 months and must say it works well for chest, shoulders and arms, but I get a noisy turbulence on the open face helmet, though I went for the highest regulation. This happens after 80 km/h (up to you, the km/miles conversion ).

I guess it gets better with a full face or if you are not very tall. However, I am satisfied. Keep it at the lowest position if you go very fast. It is good for all seasons, except winter.

I also bought a taller windscreen (Biondi brand), which I have not installed, yet. I will try it as soon as the morning temperature gets veeery cold. I will also write my impressions, but I am not so keen on big windscreens, they are protective but handling becomes very imprecise at mid to high speeds. Biondi suggests not to exceed 110-120 km/h with the taller windscreen.

The one you show in the picture is the Aprilia original one which is much more expensive than third party products (Biondi is more or less 80EUR-110$, Aprilia's is 120EUR-166$, italian prices).
Aprilia's is a bit more elegant but smaller and less protective than Biondi, materials and build quality are the same, since Aprilia gets his accessories made by brands like Biondi and Givi.

As soon as I install my Biondi I will post a picture.

Givi has a very protective windshield in catalogue:
http://www.givi.it/caschi_borse_bauli_accessori.asp?CO_ID=21703
It is the most protective I have seen until now, the price is also more accessible than Aprilia's. The cons are that, the most protective, the more affecting handling at high speeds.

Price order: Biondi, Givi, Aprilia
Protection order: Aprilia, Biondi, Givi
(low to high)

Faco also produces a cute clear mid-size rounded windscreen, a bit taller than the stock, adjustable one but with hand protections. I have not found pictures of it on the internet, yet, but I will publish them as soon as I found them.

Could not find a picture of the FACO windscreen, but this GIVI (on a BV 500) is very like it.
It is a good all-year compromise between the stock adjustable and taller windscreens.

update: GIVI Windscreen
In trying and fitting the Biondi windscreen I received, I discovered that the dealer gave me a wrong screen (bag and tags and codes were right, strangely) with the right mountings.

I brought everything back and ordered a GIVI windscreen, which uses the original, small windscreen mountings.
It is OK, good finishing, good protection, just some air at the low back (keep your jackets well sealed!). No strange vibrations, no strange effects on steering. Very elegant, in my opinion, and advisable.
The screen is lighter than Biondi's, and should not strain the original mountings. Spoilers at handguards are meant to keep an even air pressure balance at high speeds. Tried at 100-110 Km/h.

80 km/hr is around 50 mph.

The other one is around 70-75 mph. Nerd emoticon
