Modern Vespa

Are the Vacuum and Fuel lines the same size, and if so, the same quality lines. What size, and quality, do I buy to replace them?

If this doesn't fix my occasionally (after 5 miles or so) stalling scooter, do you recommend that I replace the fuel pump next?

What year is your GTS?

Vacuum lines are not fuel resistant. Both fuel and vacuum lines are sized on the inside diameter. You need a thicker walled tubing for either one if you are making any tight bends or turns.

I have a 2007 GTS250ie, but my question was about my 2007 LX50. Thanks for the answer.

I cut off a small piece of the fuel line and visited my local power equipment dealer. I bought 6 feet of the clear ethanol resistant fuel line. The clear line works great to quickly determine that there's fuel where it should be, and not where it doesn't belong.

Does the scooter immediately restart when it stall outs? If so, it's fuel related, and the lines are a great start. If it dies and does not restart until sitting for a bit, replace the CDI.

It will restart after sitting a while. I guess I need the CDI.
