A friend sent me a few photos of Sicilian scooters with elaborate painted decoration.

No idea who took them, or when (feel free to help me with attribution if you know)... but I thought they might be enjoyed by the crowd here...

T-minus 8 daze [sic] for us before we hit Italy for our Vespa trip. We have 3 days planned in Sicily and will keep a watchful eye for some of these masterpieces. With any luck, we might be able to add a few more pics.

Amazing photos, thanks for posting! I really enjoyed my holiday in Sicily a few years ago - would love to go back. Soul Surfer: it would be great if you could post some photos of your trip after you return. Are you on a commercial Vespa tour? If so, let us know what you think of it. I really want to do one, but I don't think I could convince my wife to ride on a Vespa. She certainly won't go on mine!
