My scooter is in rotation for repair. It can take 3 weeks to get it looked out.
I was losing coolant but it was not leaking. I drove it over to the repair ship and one of the mechanics came out and unscrewed the oil cap and it was a 'milk shake'. He said oh man you got blown head gasket.

So this is my question. What does something like this cost to repair. I do not know if there is a crack. so I need a best case and worst case. I want to know is it worth repair? It has about 8400 miles on it. it is great condition. I take really good care of it.

Anybody got and helpful knowledge that will keep me from getting ripped off? What do I need to know to keep me from getting ripped off? I talked to a buddy of mine that has a motorcycle and he said max $800.

Thank you in advance, Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon
