According to the Leo Vince website their '4 road' pipe for the GTS and GTV is now available.

It's road legal and the website includes an audio file of the noise it makes. It's somewhere between the stock and the PM on volume and also somewhere between the two on looks. It may suit the urban rider who doesn't want to wear earplugs all the time.

These are in production in Italy. They still have to make it to the US, and then make it to us. We have the entire first batch reserved. I guarantee that I will make a post as soon as they come in. I want to see them as and sell them as much as you want to see them and buy them. I'm guessing late October, early November.

Interesting thing I just noticed about the link. It reads 2005/2006? I wonder if it is a different pipe for the 2007 or if they just forgot to add it.

I was hoping it would look more like the ZX pipe.

The interesting question is: How much?

It weighs 14.33 pounds or 6.5Kg. Thats a bit lighter than stock. I think I will wait and see how this plays out. If I remember everyone was excited about the Scorpion pipes until they started to hemorrhage. However it does look better than I thought it would.

It need a PM box??
How lean will it run otherwise?
Does it give more power not noise?

it will cost too much for too little gains unless you count the bland look as a gain. Just drill your stock pipe for free

As all PM equipped GTS (and ET4, Habana etc...) owners will tell you it is well worth adding an after-market pipe to your scooter.

Make your own noise....

reducing the backpressure on the motor is the point, not buying a aftermarket pipe. I would be willing to wager my moded stock pipe is doing the same as these aftermarket pipe.

The ZX is a two-stroke expansion chamber.

The problem Leo Vince needs to address is that the GTS runs really hot. That's why the previous exhausts have not done well. Scorpion owners have been accusing their exhausts of making theirs scoots run too hot. The fact is that the scooter runs hot anyway and the Scorpion was not designed with that in mind.

The pipe is 14 lbs. lighter? Now thats a reason to switch!

It might be more than that (14lbs) but I do not know the weight of the stock system. Its a bit of a pig though.

What I meant was the Leo Vince pipe weighs 14 lbs.

Would a PM box be a good thing anyway even without exhaust change to richen the mixture up. Would this promote cooler running of the GTS?

I believe it could be. I was really surprised the first time I took of the stock exhaust.
