A friend of mine dropped his ET2 Vespa and for some reason he now has no spark. I removed the plug and grounded it. FYI I've restored many a vintage vespas...

Can I bypass the kill switch and key/ignition?

The electric start motor works and turns the piston, but no spark. Pulled the plug and grounded it etc.. Is it as simple as early P200 Vespa's and you just remove a wire off the CDI box? Green/ground wire...

Problem solved: toggled the kill switch on the headset a good number of times, in case debris or crap got inside. Next I disconnected unbolted and disconnected the ignition coil/pack. Even unscrewed the HT sparkplug wire and trimmed/cut off 5-6mm and screwed it back on. Reassembled everything back together and then I had blu spark! Scooter runs great now....
