Those are fun. My brother has an Innocenti also. Wiring is crap, it leaks, and has carb problems all the time, but is a blast to drive. He also has a RHD NZ Mini, and a 62 Austin 850...they are surprisingly reliable compared to the innocenti

In keeping with only having wierd stuff in my garage (well wierd as deemed by the average boring joe) my car is a Saab 9-5 Aero. 4cyl economy, V8 performance, 3500lb towing capacity, and you hardly see them on the road...downside? maintenance is balls expensive...

Hi,

Well, I'm primarily a Car Guy, the GT200 is just for fun, but since buying it Memorial Day wknd., I've put 1950 mi. on the Vespa and less than 150 mi. total on my Toy cars, not counting 2 vintage races I ran this summer in the race cars.

Daily Drivers are: 2005 Jaguar S-Type (hers) and a '95 Honda Passport 5-spd. 4X4 (mine). I office from home and my wife travels in excess of 280 days/yr., so these don't get too much use.

Toy cars include a 1985 Lotus Turbo Esprit (always wanted a 'Bond' car - 36k mi.), a 1970 Datsun 240Z (original owner w/ 23k mi.), a 1999 Porsche Boxster (orig. owner - 26k mi.) as well as a 1990 Protoform Formula Vee and a Swift DB1 Formula Ford racecars.

I used to be a car guy, then the scooters came along and got me hooked. I used to have a 4 cars sitting at my house including my 79 Chev Monza that had a 327, 4-speed, and a bunch of lightweight fiberglass body parts. Fast and fun, but was taking money away from my scooters.

Now Im down to two (sensible) cars and have 4 scooters. I really dont have aspirations any more to have super nice / fast cars...I want fast scooters

How are you liking your 3? I bought a 3 hatch with the 2.3 in July and have been extremely happy with it thus far. Monza helped me wire it for trailer lights and my hitch gets installed on Wednesday just in time for the last rally I'll be going to this year.

My daughter bought that as a replacement for her Miata. She loves it. She says you can fit an entire dorm room's worth of stuff in it. She's 5'1" and says there are no blind spots. She is very happy with it.

I moved from my old place to the new one mostly using my car. They are quite capacious, and the hatch even more so with the rear seats folded forward.

When she was looking at the sedan, I was oogling at the Mazdaspeed hatch in black, until I realized that's pretty much what I already have. No wonder I liked it so much!

A 2006 Tiburon. Black, of course. I looked at a lot of cars, but I found these were just plain fun!

(I haven't had a toy car since I sold my Volvo 1800E, and I have no time for a new one now, either. )

The wife mainly drives it now, but we've shared a 2004 Saturn L300 for the past 1.5 years. Prior to that was her 98 Ford Escort.

Before insurance totalled it I had a Maroon 1987 4 banger Ford Mustang Hatchback...Scream emoticon

Hi,

YEP - Good Eye! I drove all night to get there for the SCCA Valvoline Runoffs.

I was actually in 1st place when that pic was taken - Lap 6 (the lead car in the pic had actually cut the corner (as evidenced by the flying dust in the pic) and was forced to do a Pit & Go, placing me in 1st. But, I blew a tire on Lap 11, forced to Pit and came out 12th. I managed to claw back to 3rd when the Flag dropped - that's why they call it Racing...

Happy Motoring!... Jim

I wasnt implying that it was a contest or such. I was simply saying that I used to be a car guy until I got hooked on the scooter drug. I totally respect a garage full of cars as much as a garage full of scooters...especially that Esprit Turbo...gotta love that crazy hp/l output on that Isuzu engine
