Been a lurker for about 2 years, and gett'n a wild hair about one of them there three-wheelie machines.

One big question...
What kind of overall reliability can I expect out of an MP3? Our closest dealer is in Omaha, about 50m away. They don't seam like they have been selling Piaggio stuff for a long time, so I have concerns about repairs and what-not. I currently have a Yamaha C3 (MP3 not around here yet when I bought), with a good local Yammy dealer. Most of what is available for scooters around here are Honda and Yamaha, which make very good tiny and large scoots, but nothin in the middle.
The primary reason the MP3 sounds good to me is our local gov't policy of leaving sand & gravel from the last winter on the streets all year. Lots of spooky corners! Three wheels gotta be more better.

No big hills or mountains, until I'm on the C3... Then all roads seem like they go up the side of a mountain

Also, I want one in black

I-80 and I-180 connect about a mile from the house, so it would be nice to use them. I'm not so sure I would get on 80, but 180 is only 60 mph, and heads straight downtown.

I have a neighbor with a 1600 cc Harley, been riding for 40 years, and he refuses to get on 80. Lots of trucks and idiots at 80 mph.
