Hi, I recently purchased a 1966 Sears Allstate Blue Badge smallframe and wanted to learn more about its history. I know that Sears only offered this scooter in 1966 (though some may have been sold in 1967 that were still the 1966 model).

Does anyone know how many VMA1T models Sears imported? In 1966 there were only 6,388 of these Vespas produced and I'm curious how many were brought to North America and rebadged as the Sears brand vs how many stayed in Italy.

Welcome.

Your best bet is to search this forum. Voila : Blue Badge Questions

There is also a smallframe group on Facebook with lots of obscure info.

So do you have the mickey mouse taillight? We like pictures!

That CA black plate blue badge.... has that been repainted? I just found this one in NH yesterday. I'll just clean it up and do mechanical. Oh and I sold my 150 Sprint Veloce years ago. I should change my name on here.
