I remember being in high school and suffering tremendous anxiety when attempting to "learn" about ratios.
Many years later, after owning my first Vespa and a small plastic cup with lines and numbers on it, there was an enlightenment, a dropping of the penny. If one is unfortunate enough to be a living in the USA, then you have to convert the gallons to liters which are marked on the cup. 🤪 I live in a metric country so I feel ok with the process. |

Remember that modern gasoline is not like that of many years ago, there are additives that dissolve too much the oil used to make the mixture; therefore it must be taken into consideration if the cylinder is well lubricated. In fact, on the market there are additives to be added to petrol if it is used by vintage vehicles.

Just mix at the 40:1 ratio on the chart Ape provided and use Non Ethanol gasoline if you can, you should be just fine.

My only gripe with the cup is they could have added lines for 3/4 gallon. But it really is that easy.

I have an old bottle of fuel stabilizer that has a measuring cup integrated into the bottle that I use. Works great, you just squeeze half ounce sizes and count them out when you add fuel.

I can refill them with oil without having to measure and just dump a whole bottle in when stopping for gas (smallframe tank holds 1 gal) ⚠️ Last edited by Bazziemoto on UTC; edited 1 time

The first customer arrives and takes half the contents of the basket plus half an egg, pays and leaves. The second customer arrives and takes half the content left over half an egg, pays and leaves. The third arrives and takes half of the remaining half-egg, pays and leaves. The farmer returns home happy because he has sold all the eggs. How many eggs were initially in the basket? |
