These work really well but the choice of which to buy is hard. You can spend the big bucks for painted ones or 1/6th the price on the black ones. I bought the cheap ones and they looked great after I painted but a few months later they're all black again.

Thanks everyone, I think I found some at the local Lowe's that are white, which is the color of my LX. They are quarter inch, so I hope that's the size.

You can use small stainless "machine" screws. I think they are 3mm or 4mm. Stainless steel doesn't rust.
