I am wondering which Vespa color got you the most compliments? I am sure some of you have owned several vespas.

I am having trouble choosing a color as I like them all so much! I have also been depressed very critically and just really want to get a Vespa as I feel it will help me feel better riding one.

I have only had my one Vespa, White. I think it is the Vespa that gives you compliments not the color. I like the white as I do believe it is very visible and that I think is safer. When I was about to buy my Vespa, I had actually wanted a black one, but seeing a black one in the fog shortly before I got mine convinced me that a light color sticks out more, so I went with white. So get the one you like the best, just having a Vespa will get you compliments from some, I don't think color matters

I'm partial to White, so that is my first choice. My second choice would be Blue. There are a number of them and I certainly like them all. They fit the scooter very well.

I chose color based on my karma and 63 year age. So the bright colors did not suit me. I purchased Beige Eleganza and get many compliments.

Its a Vespa! They look great in any color. Its the style that sets them apart. My Liberty is a matte grey color and the "boring" color was the only thing I didnt care for. I get compliments for it all the time.

I love all the colors shown in the thread.

The only color that scares me as someone that has never ridden a vespa is the matte black or black.

I feel it would not be very visible at night.

I really wanted the Verde/relax ( light green)

Could not get one so I took the Verde/Bosco , that's a classic dark green with a dark brown seat.

I get lot's of positive comments about the Vespa and the color.

Color's probably not going to do you too much good at night anyway. Nerd emoticon Enhanced lighting (LEDs etc) will do much better. Besides, as the saying goes, they don't see you anyway..

I've enjoyed having black, but there are certainly a lot more exciting colors out there!

I honestly doubt that buying stuff stops people from being depressed. I'd sort out your issues first then worry about colours later.

That's the color of my 2020 HPE. Beyond the compliments on it, I've been impressed on how much people seem to notice it when riding. Still riding several motorcycles, I think the leg shield in a bright color goes a long way toward increased visibility. I've seen fewer people turn in front of me than I do with my bikes (2 of which are white).

Not unprecedented. A few years back someone joined the forum who'd bought a new GTS in each available color...IIRC, 5 or 6.

Then he had a single service issue and sold them all to buy cars instead. Wha? emoticon

For me, it was my Portofino Green LX150 - just about every time I parked, someone would stop to talk to me about it, compliment the color, etc.

hi Birdlover.... I am currently rebuilding and repainting my ET2 to the original dragon red..I think red vespa is a gorgeous color...really stands out..white is super classy too....

I have a deep blue Aprilia Mojito..thats a good color too

My girlfriend has a babyblue w/white accent Aprilia Mojito ...its nice but I think she likes that color scheme more than I do

if you have the option and if its your only ride....get red...you will be so happy...its a very positive color but will only get you compliments you are smiling!

In Peter Moore's book, Vroom By The Sea, the author rides around Italy on a bright orange 1972 Rally 200 and gets nothing but admiring glances from almost everyone he meets, so I find it pretty hard to dispel your theory!

Yes. Taormina Orange. Quite. I am regularly asked about this at stoplights. This was taken about 2/3 of the way through a 550-mile weekend round trip from the NYC area to Ithaca. Somebody wanted to talk to me about this at every single gas stop.
