Modern Vespa

I'd say compliments are based on individual preference. People who like the classic Vespa look will swoon over the pastels of the 1950s whereas people who like their scoots more modern will find bold colors more their style. I say buy whatever color YOU like because who cares what strangers think?

I am happy with my metallic Blu Gaiola GTS which garners a fair number of comments, but that Espresso is beautiful and not often seen.

My wife is trying to cover all the bases.

it's a Rat. It's a 1967 GT (a real GT!) never imported to the US. The frame is original. Motor at that time was a 79 P200 stroked to 225cc and about 23 hp. since then I have done a full hydraulic front disc brake, RS24 shocks etc etc.

It has also been Cannonballed...twice. Probably the oldest bike to complete every leg on a CBR with the most miles; 2016 3,700 miles in 11 days

My wife's bright yellow 300 Super gets more compliments than my white 300 Super. My old grey GT 200 got very little attention. She really wanted an orange Super, but got yellow because it was more visible to other vehicles on the road.

The color that gets the most compliments is arancio impulsive. I think we all agree it is NOT the Justin Bieber one

Sorry to disappoint you all but my Pearl White ET4 is the best looking Vespa ever. Try to find one!

I did buy this for the colour so it was clearly my favourite of the model colours available to me last year.

My last Vespa was Vintage Green which got some positive comments but my favourite colour was a PX200e I owned in the early 90's which was a deep purple.

Amazing to see all thes epics. Here in NYC, people don't seem to compliment you when you are riding a Vespa of any color. I think in large cities like NYC, people have seen plenty and unless it is really unique and a show stopper people aren't paying attention.

I had a silver ET4 for many years……loved it, but since I bought Mr. Cruise the compliments are non stop whenever I am out there

Dragon red is my preference, if not then I would want yellow.

R E D is the fastest color!

The Color Vibe Primavera was not my initial preference, but the late model year discount was significant and I knew my older daughter would really like the wild color scheme, so I went for it. Now it's definitely growing on me and I get *lots* of comments.

Slightly off topic, but I had a blue 2015 GTS and a white 2018 model, so I had some fun.

I have 3 Vespa's 2 LX50 one shiny Black and one Shiny Blue and bought a GTS300 Supertech last year in Matte Blue it's my favorite color

Ain't it, though?! I can't tell you how many compliments I get on my Anita. People ask me what color she is, and when I tell 'em "beige avvolgente" they just look at me funny. But when I tell 'em, "It's the color of the inside of a Three Musketeers candy bar, they get it right away!

Since 2013 I've been hearing, "that's a pretty Vespa!"

It was drawn by an Italian house of design. A very sleek shape when the top case is removed!

That's definitely not a thing I've ever heard of.

Ooops! Three Musketeers is an American candy bar...whipped chocolate nougat -- the color of my scoot -- covered in milk chocolate. Delicious...whether a candy bar or the color of my Vespa!
