I've got the plastic panels off my GT200 project to replace the coolant hoses, and the guage cluster off for a clock battery replacement. Since everything's exposed, now would be the time to accessorize.

What accessories do you like to make the scooter better? I have a louder horn ready, but everything else is stock.

Thanks in advance.

Not that you need the plastic panels off to do this, but I get great use out of the dual USB power panel that replaces the stock left kneepad. It connects to one of the existing plugs just inside that opening. I use one to charge my phone and the other to charge my GoPro.

Installing/routing a battery tender lead might be something to look into while you have the panels off, depending on how you want to route it.

Yes on both. I purchased the ScooterWest harness plug so I can shop for a power point, and I installed the Battery Tender leads when I put in the new battery. I like to run the lead out the center rear of the battery cover. I make a notch in the cover so it'll sit flat.

Thanks.

Hmm. Haven't done those since my 2006 Burgman. Have to look at some websites and start a wishlist. Thanks.

Since you've got the gauge cluster off wire it up to make clock battery changes easier. I've seen that project here a couple times, with the new battery pack down behind the horn cover. You'd never have to take the headsets off to change the clock battery again.
