hey guys and girls, so my scoot wont start, im not getting fuel to the carb.

apon checking the petcock, it will only deliver fuel when hanging down . if the fuel line is level or above the petcock, nothing comes out...

the vacuum line appears solid and i cant find any leaks.

the thing is, the petcock is a replacement which is just a few months old as i had a simmilar problem before and replaced the petcock which fixed it up until now.

so is it likely another problem with the petcock, or could it be something else i am overlooking.

i have checked and there appears to be no blockages or air leaks i can find.

i tested with the vacuum line hooked to the engine as well as manually with the suck blow method with the same results..

so really just checking in to see if there is anything i am missing before purchasing yet another petcock.

engine is a 2014 piaggio leader 125 carbed.

thanks in advance

Luke

Petcocks are simple devices and they either work or don't. Be suer your vacuum line connections are good and that the hose is solid with no leaks. Hoses are consumables and do go bad.

Check the jets as well. They are tiny and easily clogged. If they are clogged it may appear you aren't getting fuel because your choke may not be creating suction. I'd clean or change those parts first.
