What are some of your experiences with louder horn for the BV 350. I am thinking about the Stebel 11690019 - Nautilus Compact Mini Air Horn Black

I've put Fiamm Freeway Blasters in my BV350 and other scooters. They're easier to mount, I think, than a Nautilus. Haven't compared them side by side, but the Freeway Blasters are pretty loud.

In place of the original horn. It fits if you wiggle it into place just right.

Just buy two cheap red two tone car horns and squeeze them in somewhere. The idea is to sound like a bus not a scooter.

Following! I wanted a Stebel Horn. Budz, update us with what you do! I want to do the horn. I sound like I'm blowing my nose. It's embarrassing.

The stock horn in the BV is very quiet.
On other scooters I've added a second horn and this has worked well. On the BV, a Stebel works well.

I bought the $9.00 pair from Harbor Freight and mounted them in the kids 650 R. They come with a relay and a couple brackets and are as loud as the Freeway Blasters on my Guzzi...just smaller

A quick update, I bought a PIAA 76501 500Hz Slim Line Sports Horn, same horn I have in my 2015 GTS 300. It fits in place of the OEM horn in both bikes. It's not as loud as other horns but it works for me. Hope that helps...

Is there a DIY guide for taking the front shield off? I need to install both a new horn and LED turn signals on mine.

Yes. Scooter west has a plastic removal video. I also have a video on GoogleTube. Here's my post.

Much appreciated. I am a bit confused though as I understood it was plug and play to replace. I bought a PIAA as mentioned above (the slim version). I was not planning to have to run wiring to get it going.

I have tried a slew of different horns for my scoots. what I found out is some horns were far too loud for my tastes. I didnt even get to the point of something as loud as a pump driven air horn. those things are super loud. on a car you are inside a cage and the horn is far from your ear. the louder horns I didnt like would literally scare me and make my insides jump. then there is the subject of tone. there are pleasant tones and annoying ones. and finally its nice to have a loud horn that aint so loud when you flick the horn button instead of a full push on the switch.

the bv350 is anemic. sounds pathetic.

sportbike horns have the things I like. and they are cheap to buy if you look on ebay. I will have to double check but pretty sure the stock helix horn is quite nice and similar to the louder horns from sportbikes

I will make some sound clips if someone is interested.
