I just learned that my brakes are NOT linked since I have ABS and traction control on my scooter. And I am a lot more impressed with the ABS and traction control.

The pictures are not entirely clear, but it appears that there are still two brake lines going down to the front caliper. Not clear why they'd do that, except to link the brakes. Can you operate the rear brake without any front braking? If not, they're linked.

Robot clearly says in the video that the linked brakes were eliminated when the newer models had ABS and traction control added. He would know. It doesn't matter what it looks like.

Not
Did more digging, looks like just one brake line to the front caliper. So, yeah, not linked. Wasn't clear on the pictures I'd seen previously.

Was a little puzzled myself. ABS on a linked system would be quite a bit more complicated. And ABS solves the problem that linked brakes were directed at.
