Was looking for a replacement for the 12v 5w T10 bulbs-something with a bit of oomph- and came across these:

https://ledstuff.co.nz/catalog/product/view/id/1294/s/t10-9mm-premium-1-2w-1-led-cool-white/category/48/

Just fitted them, straight forward,no mods, they just slide in. A quality item.

Don't ask me to to post a pic of them doing their thing... freaks me out.

Didn't know what to expect from the stated output of 110 Lm but read some where that the incandescent bulb put out something like 20Lm (?)
Very pleased .

I use the OSRAM bulbs for the license plate lights and the 3rd brake light. PHILIPS is also a very good lighting product.

They cost more, but they don't break like the knock off Chinese junk. Philips puts a 12 year warranty on their LED automotive bulbs.

Automotive manufacturers use OSRAM (Sylvania) or Philips and nothing else. Ditto on Piaggio.

yeeesh, $20 for a pair of license plate bulbs? Do we really need festoons to be warrantied for 10+ years?

(I also run osrams but these cost more than a pair of headlights!!)

Yep! Marcus, they are both equal in colour and brightness.

But thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Nothing catches the eye of a cop as a broken or flickering light, so why give them any reason to hassle you?
