I am about to install my comagination brake light flasher onto my LX150. I am wondering if anyone has had trouble or issues with a similar install? Basically, I am looking for helpful tips before I do the project.

I have searched this question, and a few posts make reference to the modulator working with the engine off, but not when it is on.

Comagination brake modulator has me baffled (Post 87480)

Has a solution for this been found yet? I'd appreciate any other help members could offer concerning the installation of the comagination flasher.

I have that flasher. I did not have any problem installing it. As you mentioned in your post, it works great with the engine off. Once you turn the engine on, it does not modulate the brake light anymore. I'm pretty sure this was discussed in another thread, but I don't remember if there was any resolution to this issue. Hope this helps.

That is what I am trying to find out. Some people have installed it on their ET's with no difficulty (and it works) and others have had problems with it on the GT/GTS. There is mention of a work around for the voltage spikes, but no details.

Before I go to the trouble of cutting wires and soldering, I would like to know if there is anything else I should be adding to the circuit.

If anyone has one working well on an LX (or ET4), I'd like to hear from them to.

comagination brake light flasher
I installed the comagination brake light flasher on my GTS250 and it works great. I used the California version. On my GTS the ground is the black wire and the white with black stripe wire is the power.
