Our local motorcycle/scooter group does a 200 mile, plus or minus, ride every 4th Sunday. This ride usually draws from 80 to 120 motorcycles and scooters. Here is a link to one of our recent rides.

The red Honda Silver Wing seen in the first couple of scenes with the Joe Rocket jacket hanging on the windshield is mine. The MP3 was in the shop with the broken spark plug when we did that ride.

Here is the ride from this past Sunday.

We sure do have a lot of fun.

Anyway, the organizer of this ride had declared the October ride "Bikes & Boo". We are to come in costume for Halloween and decorate the bike too. There will be prizes for best costume, best bike, scariest costume, best couple, etc. I need some suggestions. Being an engineer, I am not very artistic. I will be riding the MP3 and would love to win, at least, with best decorated bike. All ideas and suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated! By the way, I am 6'4" tall and weigh about 220#, if that factors into the suggestions at all.

Thanks,
UTC

Given your height and weight, I would start off with a Frankenstein theme. Too bad you don't have a Gilera Fuoco, otherwise you'd be half way there.

jack o'lantern
the front of the mp3 is perfect for setting up as a giant jack o'lantern. the headlight is in the right place for the eyes - or in the mp3's case, eye

all you need is to fashion some scary looking mouth / nose to stick under the headlights.

if you're ambitious, i'd cut strips of orange cardboard and shape the whole scooter, front and back, as a giant pumpkin.

now, if i was nearby, i'd go as a smurf on my lovely blue smurf-mobile.
