I'm reassembling an LML motor that I've had sitting around for a year. Dumb question -- the motor has a Pinasco 177 cylinder kit with the Pinasco center-plug head. I found in my pile of parts a used copper head gasket. Can't remember if it went with this kit. Looking at SIP's site I don't see any head gasket included with the Pinasco 177. Just to be sure, am I correct that this kit doesn't use a head gasket? The motor does *not* have a long stroke crank.
I couldn't get mine to seal with the o rings. It used to work OK but I got hit hard and may have done a bit of damage to the mating surface. I made a copper head gasket and now it seals properly.,
