I totally would buy this in a heartbeat if i have the money. Ape's rule, and this one is in terrific shape.

Plus you can wheelie on them... four speeds forward and 4 in reverse!

the nightmare of italian roads, you do not hate them until you meet one ahead when you are in a hurry

There is a say in Italy, Ape is the only vehicle that can turn upside down when it is still not moving.

However, it is a favourite of driving-licenseless peasants, retired countryside people and teenagers living in very cold winter parts of our country.

Those teenagers usually modify their Ape in a heavy way, resulting in something similar to a mixture of a small scale F1 car, a rally car, a three-wheel copy of Rossi's Yamaha, a mobile discotheque.
(and despite their efforts, it will still capsize...)

I want one as well, but i can fit several scooters in the garage space it would take up ...

plus you have to work on them a ton BECAUSE they don't get ridden much. POC Phil told me that owning one is like knowing that every time you ride one it's going to be at least 2 hours in labor to fix SOMETHING ... a leaky seal, etc.

Plus i'm 6'5" and i don't fit in the cab at all. I look ridiculous.

I like the pick-em-up version better than the ice cream truck. Eric posted the link over on the Rovers' site, so I saw it there, too.

That would be fun, though! Wheelie bars, a Hyabusa drive train, a turbo...
