I'm picking up my Portofino green 2007 GTV next week. When I was looking for the Scoot, both dealers I was talking to assured me that the GTV would hold it's value much better than the GTS. They both cited that being a "vintage" model, and in limited production, the GTV would hold value better. That makes some sense to me, but it's not really about the money.

I asked both dealers if there would be a GTV in 2008 and was told no. So my questions is why would Vespa limit the GT60, and limit the GTV also? And further, are there any production numbers on the GTV available? If they only made a limited number, and only for 2007, I can certainly see the value holding well.
