OP bikeridermark Member 2010 Vespa 300 gts Joined: UTC Posts: 7 Location: Southern Ohio	UTC quote I have a 2010 GTS300 that starts instantly when cold, runs 30-60 seconds, then dies. I have to open the throttle some for it to restart, but may die again after a short while. If I take off riding right away, it keeps on running. After that, idles and runs perfectly. Warm restarts are no problem. Any ideas?

KY	UTC quote My 2018 GTS does pretty much the same thing.Yours did that when I rode it and it had similar miles to my 2018 as now. The 2018 when started cold, the throttle has to be applied sort of judiciously, i.e. gradually, to avoid killing the engine, then after warm it runs smooth as glass. My new one has several thousand miles so still somewhat a tight engine too.
