I had to watch several of these videos, I have reeds myself so I never mastered the timing with rotary crank numbers.

So this is up and running now, it is a blast. Has really nice tourque every where you could ask for it.
-flytech ignition 24 degreee idle, 17 at higher rims
-24.24 pinasco er and velocity stack 160, be3, 140 main
-sip 2.0, 3.0 on the way
-alpha kit bored to fit mhr piston and custom head
-pinasco crank
-Fresh rebuilds
-stock clutch

Pinasco split rims are very nice.

Sluk driver screen is nice, but needs some adjustment there were some noise from vibration that I could quite by barely touching it.

Pinasco adjustable shocks feel nice, adjustment still as they were out of the box.

Changed a lot of things all at once, hard to say how amazing any one upgrade was on its own, but the scooter as a whole feels great now. Smooth, powerful, clean shifting.

Another update. I now have a HRA carb and airbox installed. I kept running into an issue with this weird stutter that seemed to happen transitioning from low rpms to higher rpms and vice versa. that I assumed was related to jetting or timing. Kept adjusting both and it was still an issue.
Al said that he did not advice running a variable ignition with a box pipe. Then a friend that was having a similar problem saw these BGM boxes. https://www.bgm-tuning.com/en/product/bgm6697-cdi-bgm-pro-with-fixed-ignition-time-for-idm-ignition-type-ducati-blue-vespa-px-pk-lambretta-used-for-polini-idm-vespatronic-vespower-varitronic-flytech-parmak/

I just installed this and took it on some test rides. It made a huge difference, no more engine jerks or stutter anywhere in my rpm range.

Not sure where it was exactly at 3,000RPM. At a high idle it was at 23-24BTDC and it retarded to 17-18BTDC. I had adjusted the timing a bit either direction from there and always had issues with a "stutter." I use a buzwangle to make my timing marks, so I am pretty confident they are accurate.

I may test this with another pinasco box at some point, but for now this BGM box with static timing is working much better.
