I was removing my headset cover to replace my speedo cable and in doing so broke the circuit board on the speedometer Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon

Short of buying a new speedometer ( I'm thinking SIP digital ) can I get a circuit board separately from the speedo ? Or can I repair it myself??

Thanks in advance

What i've always appreciated about the late model PX's is that they have an actual build date printed on a sticker that's located on the speedo. Whenever i buy a PX (i've had 4), i'll pull the headset to look at the date. It turns out one of my PX's has the exact same birthday (Armistice Day November 11th) that i do! It looks like your PX's is on February 20th. If so, then your scooter turns 4 years old in 17 days. Happy birthday to your scooter! Made me wonder why the Piaggo factory was working on that day, but it turns out the Italians just celebrate it on a different day (Nov 4th).

I'm about 99% sure that you can't buy that printed circuit board anywhere. You might be able to find a used damaged speedo to get one from, or like me, i just soldered in a couple jumper wires on my speedo. You do have to be super careful from now on to unclip that speedo connector though.

Repair it. Easy. Use the tails of any old resistors to bridge where the tracks maybe broken. The base is just plastic so use epoxy or...

That's what I would do.

Is it definitely the case that the circuit board can't be purchased anywhere?

I've been scouring Google and drawn a blank, just wondering if anyone else got lucky?

It was never sold as a spare, so no you can’t find it anywhere. And I doubt that anyone would ruin a speedo to sell just the circuit board. If it’s not fooked way too much, it’s repairable. I’ve done more than 20 of them over the years…
