So I know there is a wiring mod to enable both on, but what about this switch mod instead?

I was searching for my BV and found it, but the MP3 uses the same switch. I know I've held mine down at times in the dark to get both to work.

Just modify the switch by removing the switch and one small circlip and spring on the side of the switch. No wiring mods needed. *Note your high beam blue indicator will stay on all the time. Hope this helps!!

I kinda thought that switch would work the same on the MP3.

Are you saying when the switch is in the middle low beam position it will display the high beam blue indicator?
Or just when you're in flash pass rear position - both lights on & the traditional 1 light high beam position?

With the switch all the way forward or all the way back it will display the high beam indicator, switch in middle won't display anything or shine any light.

That does not make sense.

All that is happening if you are removing the return spring so the switch snaps back up from both lights on flash to pass position.

Nothing electrical happens, it's a mechanical mod & looks to be reversable.

Yep your just modifying the switch. All the way forward is one light on, all the way back is both lights on. Sorry for the confusion. lol
