it has come to the attention of the moderating team that several users have been using the private messaging function for... uhh... less than civil intentions.

needless to say this is highly inappropriate.

if you have been harassed via PM's or the victim of unwanted PM's please feel free to contact a member of the moderating team and we will see to it that any user doing such will face the necessary repercussions.

on another note, complaints of moderation or the karma system will almost always automatically earn a time out. being a general irritant will do the same.

This is worth making a sticky for a day or three...

I would also like to add that this forum has for a long time been self moderating up until the recent past. There seems to be some vendettas going on and one of them is getting very old. You know who you are.

So here are some suggestions that I would advise you to take seriously if you want to hang out here.

1. Use the just walk away button. It is there for a reason.

2. If you don't like someone's thread keep your mouth shut and move on. If it breaks the rules, is spam or is offensive report it. We'll sort it out.

3. If you have animosity toward someone on this forum do not use this forum to vent, complain about it or attack them. That includes using pm's. This is a scooter forum not middle school.

4. Discussion and disagreements on topics is welcome. Personal attacks are not. Figure out the difference.

[url] URL brackets [/url]

will get deprecated, i.e. hidden as 'not wanted here'.

I think we can safely rescind this rule now. The Chrome / YouTube support has been fixed, as of today. It is safe to put bare YouTube links into a post, and they will automatically be processed into viewable videos.
