Hi gang, I have a MP3 500ie and have enjoyed it for 2 years now. I was about to take off with my daughter when I got a continuous beep and it wouldn't let me start up the engine. I have searched forums and videos and all the alarm codes, but none describes a continuous beep. I've charged the battery, topped up the tilt lock reservoir... tried every other way to troubleshoot. Can anybody advise me what this means and how to fix it? I'd appreciate ANY direction, even if the direction was "go here to find the answer" etc...

Sounds like the roll lock motor is not disengaging causing the continuous alarm sound to come on.

With the bike on the center stand, disconnect electrical plug going to roll lock motor and apply external 12 Volt source directly to the motor. Should do the trick.

Also make sure your switch for the tilt lock and the red master switch are in good working order.

just because you had it on a charger does not mean the battery is good. a dead cell causes alot of issues even though you might have 12v static. load test it.

how old is the battery? if more than 3 years old replace it of deal with the headaches of a spotty battery at best.

Having the same issue. Started today. Was riding down the highway and the bike just cut out. Still had power.

I have checked all the fuses, bought a new battery and disabled the tilt lock.

Soon as I turn the key. I get a continuous high pitched beep. And want start. Won’t even try.
