Modern Vespa

I'm thinking about getting a Dainese Jet Stream Tourer helmet when I go to Italy next Spring. The other one I was considering was the GIVI 10.4 line. Does any MVers have any experience (good or bad) with these helmets?

I have just returned my Jet Stream Tourer to the shop after 8 months of daily use - the reason being that the internal sun visor broke and would basically fall down of its own accord at random! This made night-riding somewhat exciting/dangerous as you never knew quite when it would happen.

To be honest I was going to get another full-face helmet anyway for safety reasons as I felt a bit exposed riding around London traffic.

Whilst I used it, I found the Jet Stream Tourer very light and comfortable although it did feel a bit flimsy for my liking - it doesn't exactly give you masses of confidence that it would stand up well should the worst happen. Hope that helps!

Thank you for the feedback, I'll definitely take that into consideration. I'm also looking for opinions on the GIVI 10.4 series. I won't be using this as a day to day helmet, at least at first as I have a Schuberth C2 which I use for commuting (very quiet for listening to music on my iPod).
