For those of us who need to wear vests - (military and such) - this company makes extremely cool vests - custom reflective designs or designs they have already come up with. Definitely something other than ordinary!

I am looking into getting a vest with the US Navy logo on the back

Those are neat!

I'd love to have a huge set of eyes made - so the person that isn't paying attention has nightmares. For ever.

Those vests are super cool - love the ones with wings in the back, and the lips ones. Since I'm commuting on the freeway every day, in the rainy dark season, I'm considering buying one...........

shut up, yes i'm a dork. but i'll be alive, or seen being alive before i'm squished.............

unless they were dayglo or florescent, i don't think those would fly on base. Isn't the requirement to be extra visible during the daytime as well?

Not a big fan of a lot of their gear, but I like Icon's vest. It looks the business and it definitely works. Doesn't look like a construction worker item converted for motorbike use.

Don't you know that being a dork is so HOT now??? I wish they had a unicorn design, the pegasus is so close!

I wear the Icon reflective vest every once in a while. They make some armored leather vests now too, but that's a bit too much like riding a hog for me. Leather vests scream assless chaps...

I wear the yellow Icon at the moment - however

The requirement is for 'brightly colored' during the day and reflective at night....I had them do up a Navy Logo example and I will have them add the yellow stripes on the front shoulders. Should pass muster - it's really up to the gate guard - but if they notice the super-reflective yellow stripes - shouldn't be a problem.

Going to have him put Navy pilot wings and perhaps an aircraft silhouette on the front.

Here's the back:
I like it!

That looks great, Jim.

I have the yellow Icon, but only wear occasionally it if it is foggy or drizzling near dawn or dusk. Prime times when I'm all but invisible.

The 'rules' for active duty actually require all the listed items at all times on or off base - I know for a fact that most folks don't follow that - but here's what I am supposed to have at all times while riding (yes I actually do):
- headlight
- two mirrors
- DOT helmet
- gloves
- long sleeve shirt
- long trousers
- hard soled shoes (over the ankle recommended)
- brightly colored top (reflective at night)
- eye protection (windshield does not count)

I like the icon vest - but as soon as I saw I could customize this vest - it made me want one even more!

Here's the initial front design - I am definitely going to get this and we'll see how it turns out

I tried the Icon vest, but then found this one from Olympia. Much better fit for me.

I personally like the Euro-trash yellow. Orange just doesn't do it for me.
