Just back from a fun meeting with seven members from the MV forum.

Managed to snap a few pictures in Soho.

Good to meet you all. Suit Scoot - where were you? Hope you saw sense and decided to stay up north rather than brave the cold for a coffee (we did also manage some spicy peas too).

This was a MV meet where M is for Modern so I guess we all left our vintage at home. Strange that there were no vintage bikes there anyway as their normally are.

I wish they had meets like that here. We have Marcus Dairy Super Sunday(s) which is the biggest one day meet in the US, but it's mainly HDs (not complaining...I have one) and some sport bikes but, unfortunately, no scooters. A shame, really, because I think scooters are every bit as cool as Harleys. (Or maybe it's just that the novelty of big twin motorcycles has worn off...)

Please note that there are at least two London Corazzo 5.0 jackets, three if you count caligurl's!

The few times I've been to London, I loved Regents park. Riding around that area must be wonderful.

Londoners really know how to have fun, it's been years, i probly still get lost there . does everyone still drive on the left side of the rode? J K Nice pics mate.

Tomorrow, Mon 1st Oct, like all 1st mondays of the month is T&G night at Ace. I will pay them a visit if Eddie gets my engine out and in in time to fix the exhaust manifold studs. It would be great to see you all again!

Monday's out for me I'm afraid as it's my day for collecting the kids from school (not very rock n roll, I know, but essential all the same).

But would definitely like to do the old london meet up again. I really enjoyed it and am dreaming of a country pub serving roast beef.

everybody's welcome! it seems that the only requirement for joining is that you enjoy food and drink as much as you enjoy riding your vespa.

If the weather is reasonable I am thinking of going up to the Ace tomorrow evening. If anyone else wants to hook up let me know...

Thanks genie....It won't be till next year though as insurance has run out and now seems a good time to do some modifications to my scoot...and this takes some time! I hope your still doing meets next year,hope so.Anyway i found caligurl pics on flicker and seen the rest of your pics.The country pub with roast sounds REALLY good.No doubt i will read what happens in the coming months.All the best to everyone who goes.

i had to borrow money off my mate to get it fixed so i could get home.

All you have to do is start checking with some local scooterist and set one up. Post in MV to see if there's any interest.

Caligurl has only been in London town for bit and was able to get the London MVers out for a meetup.

I think she'd been in town for a few hours when she started work on us.

Yeah, I was stirring up Londoners once I got in. Nothing to do, ya know? Can only handle coworkers for a certain amount of time a day.
