Looking for a wireless communication system for my beo - it would be nice if it was bluetooth, had FM and weather as well.
Any ideas guys?

A "Chatterbox TM" could be what you are looking for. I read the review on Scoot Magazine Winter 1999 issue.
Their web site as printed in the magazine is: www.hjc-chatterbox.com and their phone number is (888) 452-2269. Regards, |

The above doesn't work. I found Chatterbox at http://www.chatterboxusa.com/
I'm looking at getting an Autocom, but it is wired. |

Thanks Guys!
Does anyone make a unit like this with a FM and CB built in? AS you know there ain't a whole lot of places to hide all the extra modules. I found one with a CB & Weather but it was not Bluetooth wireless. |

There's a new Bluetooth unit (stereo) available from Camos. It can be ordered from Benchmark Helmets.
I've been looking to get one of these for a long time, but haven't been too happy with either the looks or the features of most of those currently available. I like the Camos unit because: a) it's small; b) it's stereo Bluetooth AD2P compliant; c) sounds good (based on reviews I read). For the non-Bluetooth components out there (phones, iPods, XMs, etc), buy a $30 AD2P dongle. Theoretically, since the dongles use an 1/8" stereo plug, you should be able to connect multiple sound sources and send them to the Camos headset. You'll need some sort of tiny mixer, though, to mix the sources to different levels. |

I really happy with my Scala FM Bluetooth headset. Check it out at:
http://cardowireless.com/riderproducts.php It's pretty darn easy to setup, too, which is a lot to say when compared to some of the other Bluetooth headsets for motorcycles. |
