Modern Vespa

Congratulations! This is formally known as the Museum of the San Ramon Valley; on the corner of Prospect Ave
and next to the Iron Horse Regional Trail. I sympathize with you about the cold. The day I shot this on the way
back from picking up cipote's tag, it was about 47 degrees.

The location is generally well known. The challenge is in the specifics.

Well here we go. Couldn't help but be reminded of the Robert Seidler song "Christian Boy," if you don't remember that song, it's the one with the chorus "no more scooter rides in the cemetery."

I am loving these nearby spots. Picked this one up on the way back from the Gym tonight.

Not being too local, where was that last shot, the 2 big buildings??

Hmm, next one, a small crick, probably in the east bay, hmmm.

I'll have to get cracking to break into this monopoly!

The last was taken from Oakland off of 980. The two buildings are the focal point of the Frank Ogawa Plaza.

The new site is a local landmark, where many people paint the names of recent High School Grads and or to celebrate a birthday. It is probably 6 miles from the last tag and is in neighborhood known for being "fiery."


Hope these veiled hints help. If not I'll post more in a few days.

The shot of the two buildings was taken from Preservation Park in Oakland.

Can we get another clue? You've got me stumped on this one.

1) Same city as last tag.
2) There's a "mountain" and a "skyline" involved and a famous eccentric poet used to roam this range. In fact a school nearby is named after him.

Joaquin Miller School is near Mountain Blvd. and Skyline Blvd. I am I getting warm?

Won't have a chance to ride today - and it's gorgeous out! Maybe I'll explore tomorrow. Unless someone beats me to it.

Just got back from a little vaca and it seems that more hints are in order:

1) 3 blocks from Joaquin Miller School [I feel like it's ok to say this since it was deduced last week)
2) This creek bed is part of a wall of a park named for a woman, whose first name is the same as Homer Simpson's wife and last name sounds like the last name of the KFC founder
3) The street name= An article on men's clothing. Not commonly worn, unless you're Austin Powers.

Here it is.....

I live in El Sobrante but work at UC Berkeley. Commute through Tilden.

El Sob is infested with harleys so I chose to ride a vespa several years ago just to be different.

Cricket, then it's you that I see when I am driving ( ) to El Sob to pick up my kids

Sorry, I didn't remember it. I went with a group Saturday on a ride from Walnut Creek up Pinehurst Rd, across Grizzly Peak
and through the park then across Bear Creek Rd. and back to Walnut Creek. This was a comfort stop. I saw the pillar and
thought it would be a good tag. I considered using this shot but my scoot is hidden by the person walking away on the right.

shoot I just rode by that spot yesterday evening

so I went there again this morning ahead of the rain.

Here's the next spot. It's well known and a fantastic trip.
