Curt was trying to avoid hitting another scooter that cut him off... So he desided to ride his Scooter up a hill and thats why he has a custom Painted Yellow scooter and all the wonderfull hardware in his leg...

Just had my 2k service done. After $178 charge, I am going to be glad to learn how to do the service myself.

My seat latch has become damaged but they didn't have a new on in stock. I am guess I had better bungie the seat down on the way up.

Greasy the most amazing Mechanic in Southern California has agreed to not only attend the Modern Vespa Workshop but to help with the teaching.

Dude that ROCKS~ Looking forward to having a few beers with ya....

Well, I don't know how yet, but I gonna try to make it. When is the Philly crew leaving? Greasy.... NICE! Maybe he can help me with a little tiny issue. I may bring my tent and sleep'n bag and crash someone yard for a night..hehe.

I'm trucking down on Thursday with 2 scoots. I think a couple might be riding down on Saturday morning ... more for the PF ride Sat night than the MV workshop though.

Thanks! I am working out the minor things now, like securing chairs, goodies for the Rally pack, and where to meet the RVA folks on Thursday night for those of us coming early.

For those of you on the fence, do realize that the $10 fee only goes towards paying for the food, the food expenses above and beyond the $10 will be covered by ModernVespa. What I'm trying to say is that none of us make a penny for this, as a matter of fact it costs us to come share our knowledge as we pay for our own airfare and lodging. I would love to see this as an annual event but reality is that it won't be so please join in while the opportunity exists.

The SF Workshop was well done. I am worried about what we will be eating for only a $10.00 fee... Sounds like Eazy Mac and Corn Chips..?

Hey val i emailed curt but forgot to pm you sorry me bad. Had to come back early nemo the bunny i rescued 2yrs ago got real sick and my vet thought he wasn't going to make it. I had to cut my trip short. He's doing better. I had a place to stay at a friends house in the fan district and everything I was really looking forward to meeting everyone. Bummer. Like i told tom maybe one in hawaii 8) I have 3 scooters they would like the extra attention

I was thinking about a camping rally that would include going to the outer islands by ferry for the fall of next year. Hopefully the ferries will be going there by then Having the workshop added on would be great. I wonder how many people would be interested? Thanks deborah

Not enough local clientell for a workshop in Hawaii but a multi island rally in fall 08 is in the works. I'm looking at shipping over a full container load of our scooters from the port of Oakland for this event.

Curt let me know. I am sorry the bunny is not well. I hope he/she will be ok. It would have been great to meet you, perhaps one day I will make it to the Hawaii and you can give me a tour by scoot.
