Modern Vespa

Hey Gang,
It's been awhile since I've posted on here. I sold my last Vespa yesterday. It's weird cause I've always had a scooter or two in the garage, but ever since buying the BMW R60/2, I've fallen victim to the old no riding of the scoot.

Soo... I guess it's goodbye. The forum is/was a great place to hang out and learn, teach and everything else. I've met a few of you at rallies in Seattle, Portland, Idaho.

Voodoo.. I need to stop by your place on the way to Mt. Vernon! If you want some extra leftover parts for free, let me know.

I've been soooo busy recently I haven't taken the time to read a lot... but now that you've reminded me....I miss seeing and hearing from the Doc.

Good luck on the BMW. I do like the look of the smaller bikes......

Well...congrats on the sale. Don't feel like ya can't stop in and say Hola at your leisure though... No Vespa required to be neighborly. Enjoy the BMW!

Well that's bittersweet. I'm sorry to see you go. I'm way into riding my multiple KTM's, but i've never, ever had a desire to get purge myself from all my scooters! For one thing, the traffic is so bad in PDX that i can much more easily manuver my PX through traffic than when i'm on my 950. In fact i probably haven't rode it out to the "big city" for about...heck, maybe once in the past 5 years? I'm assuming we've meet at some point at one of the rallies? Maybe you'll come back to scooter, maybe not, but i'll keep my eyes open for a R60 at the next "spring opener" ride!

U never really go Doc, u may think u are but i believe u will always come back, even i never think Vader and Bitsa were leaving.. Theu were all here spread their soul among posts
