I noticed that it does not show up in the drop down list as well. since they are small manufacturer, potentially they could produce this up on order.

I had this one. After first excitement of having dual pipes, the sound bit dis-apointed me.

have seen somewhere picture of Hurric Pro 2 dual exhausts on GTS, need to find this. the sound of them is bit more sportier than I really would like to, but the looks of it is simply amazing

EDIT: I just found that snapshot, looks damn good

EDIT 2: while searching for Hurric, I found this (never seen it before) https://acmotos.com/en/ixil-l5x-exhaust-vespa-gts-300-steel-xp0161xs

this is how Hurric Pro2 exhaust looks like

available in matt black as well

They don't make Vespa mufflers anymore, they haven't for some time now.

I just installed a Arrow slip-on exhaust. It's very similar to the Malossi exhaust but less expensive. It has a nice deep mellow sound with the noise killer. Without it it's to loud for my taste and probably my neighbours too

I have Arrow 53525ANN + 53072MI
But you will need the other collector 53072KZ and the Cat insert or it won't have ABE

interesting to see that Piaggio recently sold a 'sports' exhaust for the Euro5 HPE. But doesn't seem to be available any more? It was on their website but is now gone?

I read on another forum that it's made by Arrow (as is the Malossi and Polini)

I saw an introduction video of it on YT some time ago. The price was very steep. And yes it is, except for the branding, exactly the same as an Arrow exhaust.

Yes, Arrow.has OEM agreement with Piaggio, Malossi and Polini, among others.

IMO people who pay extra for Polini or Malossi over straight Arrow-branded exhaust are basically wasting money on 3rd party markup.

Not sure I like that new logo branding on Arrow exhaust with massive in-your-face letter A with arrow strike thru, though.

You mean the Vespa branded one on that Super Tech? Piaggio often tends to dress up their Vespas in aftermarket parts on trade shows etc.
It's OEM Arrow exhaust, with applied/etched Vespa logo, nothing more nothing less. Also more expensive than the stock branded Arrow of the same type.

Cheers.

Yup, same as the Arrow Urban latest model. Which is far less expensive.

(I'm reluctant to use the word "cheap" when talking about anything Vespa related)

True.

Couple of black oxide bolts I bought for exhaust heat cover were indeed 'cheap' at 20C each, but past simple nuts and bolts everything else with Vespa logo or Piaggio stamp on it seems to be selling at a premium.

Hello friends, I want to share with you my purchase of a replica Akrapovic muffler for my Vespa GTS 300.
Because as a motorcycle mechanic I went through a lot of mufflers of different brands: Yoshimura, Arrow, Leo Vince, Scorpion..
I decided to take a risk and order this vespa muffler to see what the quality is and whether it is worth it.
Many of you would probably reproach me that I did wrong, but as we all know, even the new Vespa HPEs are made in China.
The muffler came very well packaged, and the kit includes everything you need for installation. I asked the merchant to brand him with Akrapovic. It looks very well made.
I have yet to mount it on the scooter.
In addition, I want to say that the Chinese also offer a cat for this type of sports muffler. It is mounted at the beginning of the muffler.
I also made a video with unboxing. If you decide you can see it.

No, they are not.
They are made in either Italy (Pontedera) or in Vespa factory in Vietnam. There's Vespa factory in India but doesn't manufacture GTS there, yet.

In the description of the video in the YouTube I put a link from Aliexpress.
I've become a fan of aliexpress. so cheap. as long as the item is not a critical thing (failure causing accident or big money repairs) then I'm happy to buy from there.

Some of my Aliex. purchases have been good, a few not so . My latest 'fail' was yesterday on a country café ride. The neat looking windscreen extension- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002404235189.html?spm=a2g0o.9042311.0.0.214c4c4dVPDq2Z- flew off and destroyed itself. Ok the "Old North' road is bumpy but all else on Vespa stays put. The fastenings I picked up from the roadside had literally destroyed themselves. I knew from originally fitting it that they were very flimsy looking but plastics can be quite tough these day. Wishful thinking...

Re Bumpy roads, these have been less jarring since fitting a cool looking Bitubo (not from AE) front shock. After several adjustment trials, setting the damping right back and winding the spring down four turns to get the right amount of static sag. the bumps feel like bumps and not bricks.

So after reading all the discussion on the forum, I have narrowed it down to 2-Akrapovic exhaust (Reliability) or Arrow exhaust (Best bang for the buck). I am leaning towards the Arrow. Any final thoughts on the two before I pull the plug? Any issues with them cracking? Also can anyone recommend the best websites to order either one?

Grazie Mille

So after reading all the discussion on the forum, I have narrowed it down to 2-Akrapovic exhaust (Reliability) or Arrow exhaust (Best bang for the buck). I am leaning towards the Arrow. Any final thoughts on the two before I pull the plug? Any issues with them cracking? Also can anyone recommend the best websites to order either one?

Grazie Mille
Been running the Arrow on my HPE for 20,000km and happy

I like all the feedback. Thank you.

Any personal experiences are always appreciated. Any websites that anyone recommends to purchase the arrow or akrapovic exhaust from?

I got my Arrow from an Italian vendor on eBay.

Also i recommend getting the catalyst else you may have a lot of backfiring unless you are able to tune your ecu. YMMV.

Edit: probably shouldn't have said "backfire", i really meant be more "angry" ...

That may depend on what year GTS you have. I have the Arrow without the cat on my 2013 GTS (euro3). With the dB killer installed it doesn't backfire at all. I didn't try without the dB killer because i found it too loud. Euro4 and Euro5 models could be another story though ...

Tuinkabouter- Thank you very much. I tried looking on e-bay but nothing for a 2021. I found a website call motardinn (www. tradeinn.com). I submitted an e-mail inquiring about the Arrow exhaust for my 2021 gts 300hpe Super Sport. I appreciate all the information.

Be careful what you order ...

The European and North American Vespa have a different exhaust. iirc 2021 was the year that Europe changed from the Euro4 to the Euro5 exhaust system on the HPE. America is still the Euro4.

The link Tuink gave is for the Euro5.

This is the Euro4 https://www.arrow.it/en/assembled/1652/Piaggio-VESPA-GTS-300-HPE-2019-2020

You're right, i didn't think of that. However the difference is probably only the cat. But better safe than sorry.

It's not just the cat, the midpipe is different. On a euro5 the midpipe and header are a single piece unlike all previous gts. See Euro5 GTS HPE has slip-on Exhaust and Catalytic in manifold?

Steelbytes, Thank you for the info. I contacted an Arrow vendor and I asked them the same question on what mid pipe I would need, If any. They were going to have the tech call me back Monday Morning. I attached a screenshot showing the 2 mid pipe options.
