Modern Vespa

Hi,
I am using Vespa PX 150. It has a point ignition system. Normally such scooters use 6 Volt. I want to buy an Ïnfrared Thermometer to check the engine temperature.In the market, there are different categories of IR Infrared Digital Thermometer.

The ranges of such devices are

1- 32 degree centigrade to 420 degree centigrade
2- 32 degree centigrade to 700 degree centigrade
3- 32 degree centigrade to 800 degree centigrade

Normally in summer here outside weather temperature is about 43 degrees centigrade. The question is when I will drive the scooter in such temperature (Summer) continuously about 20 to 25 Km then what will be the engine temp at that time.

In my opinion, the device is good to diagnose any heating issue in any kind of vehicle engine.

Another device is "Cylinder head gauge" but about it I have no idea how to use it.

The gist is, what is the maxi engine temp (for a good/healthy engine) if it is used for long-distance traveling, and for IR Temp device which range may I buy to diagnose/test the engine.?
