I have recently purchased an old 2008 Fuoco 500.
Before this, i rode a Honda Rebel 500 but i wanted a maxi scooter and boy, the fuoco 500 was love at first sight even though it is a pretty old model now.
They are so rare these days but i managed to snag one after months of scouring the web and classifieds.
Anyway i have a problem. Was using the tilt lock one day and heard a soft snap. Since then there has been a clanking noise whenever i engaged the tilt lock (It still works).
I opened it up, and discovered a joint which pushes the hydraulic piston has snapped. It seems to be a ball and pin joint of some sort. Here are some Pictures.
I am h aving a hard time finding the part number. Has anyone had a similar problem ? could i fabricate something myself to replace it ? Is this part expensive and difficult to replace ? Thanks ahead !
