Can anyone explain why my GTS was singing to me in fluent whale when I got back to the garage?

I was trying to fathom how on earth you adjust the left shock (got there in the end), and while it was cooling it emitted the most weird sounds. Not heard the like before.

Not concerned about it, just interested.

Whale song is a new term

Usually it's described as farting or groaning
FAQ: Why does my GTS groan/moan/moo or fart when off?

Interesting...but it's a 2020 injection - no carb. You reckon there's still some kind of equaliser at work?

Yes, more recent Euro standards do require fuel vapor control.

I guessed you might have done, but it's also there for the benefit of any other new fellow Brit members. American has a subtly different vocabulary than English, especially with their acronyms.
