I'm looking at this 1966 Allstate Sprint for $500. (No title) The motor looks original, but there are holes in the tunnel. The tunnel holes look like someone opened the tunnel and tried to weld it back, or maybe the holes for the center mat rusted. Otherwise the tunnel feels solid. The scooter is pretty rough, but that tunnel is a worry.
I haven't seen many of these.

The tail light alone if complete is worth more than half the asking. I guess you will just have to figure out if you want to put the work in it.

I looked at the engine and it's the original 150 cc sprint engine. The kickstart lever is wrong.

I did look at the motor today, it had the older style flywheel, held on with a circlip, also the older carburetor. I dont get how that p style kickstart got on there

I got the Allstate Sprint home, and there's good news and bad news.
Bad news first, the floor is in even worse shape than I thought, PO must have removed the rails and laid down a pretty thick layer of fiber glass. I think the floor is toast.
Good news, the motor looks good the cowls are both in decent shape, the front suspension is all there and I can rebuild it. I've got a pretty nice sprint frame I can get hold of for $300. And the Mickey Mouse tail light is not in terrible shape.


The kickstart lever on there is shorter than the p kickstart


Floor is roached

Just the lens. Mine looked like that, too. Clauss Studios sells a really nice reproduction replacement.

I had a 66 Sprint with the MM tail light was there with the elusive side reflectors intact. The main lens, however was toast and unsalvageable. The new one from Claus studios was absolutely perfect.

I ended up selling the Allstate Sprint for what I paid to a nice fellow who needed parts for another project. The donor sprint frame I had a line on ended up having quite a bit of bondo on it so I passed on it.
