After guessing the cause of NO LIGHTS being due to a faulty REGULATOR on a PX200E & only having a LML/Aftermarket Indian one available I decided there must be a way to use it or at least test to see if that was the problem....

So I used the "SEARCH" function and came up with lots o useless crap, plus numerous wiring diagrams & a few references to people ending up with the aftermarket Indian/LML regulator ps but not being able to use them, as wiring colours & order of plugs etc differed, plus loom colours differ etc.
.... which to me means... its baciscally the same, so may as well try to make it work!
After tracing the numerous wiring diagrams (on whatever there was that had a battery), scooterhelp and Haynes manuals (both brown & the earlier blue had good info) it started to make sense, so I gave it a crack (ie checking where the individual wires come from & go to is the important thing. Then write this down & go on to the next wiring diagram. Eventually, the "law of averages" will ascertain what goes where & colour becomes irrelevant) & it worked!
Ref pics for changes

Hope some day this helps someone.... remember to use my warranty knowledge theory of; "well, it currently doesn't work, so screwing with it cannot make it any worse...."

NOTE:
There was not a lot in the search specifically relating to the "GGBC-earth" or "GG+BCE", or "GGBCE" term, hence that search term being here.

Your question pretty much mirrors what I asked on this forum a few weeks ago:

Rectifier/regulator letter/color codes

If you found a the way to successfully connect the GGBCE regulator to your PX200E, I would like to know.

Scooterwest sells that regulator as a compatible substitute to my original one, and the year/model of my PX150E is listed in the applicability below the announcement.

Get pics of current setup (incl which colour wires are on it, PLUS pic of the new one...
I'll try to work it out with you... in the interim, check the first 2 pics, that's what I did/used

This is the correct diagram that SaFis sent; it is the second from the top and matches my bike:

And this is the spare regulator I have:

On the bike, and still working well is this:
https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/voltage-regulator-piaggio_29401650?q=regulator

The first one came from India and supposedly it is compatible with the second one. I am just curious if it is and which wires do to which terminal.
