I am just getting familiar with a new to me 2009 LX50. I have a couple of places I wouldn't mind touching up with an easy to use paint. Does anyone have any recommendations? It's very hard to get some paints and chemicals shipped out here so I'm taking any and all recommendations and I'll suss them out for who might ship. Thanks for any help!

Touch Up Paint Recomendations
Any decent paint and body shop should be able to mix up a pint of touch up paint. It will be easier if you have the color code. The yellow factory paint code is 928/A. there is a company that ships touch up kits and their part number is VES031. Here is a link: https://touchupdirect.com/touch-up-paint/vespa/lx-50/#pf-year=2009

Touch Up Paint Recomendations
No problem, I am new to Vespa's as of a few months ago; rode large displacement bikes until now. I only know about the paint as I picked up one that sat in a storage shed for four years and was apparently dropped several times and I did a little research on the paint color before I took it to my painter. Stay safe over there in tomorrow; It's still yesterday here.

I ordered paint from 2 different companies recently and only one of them provided me with the correct shade and high quality finish. I got rattle can paint for my GTS 300 Super HPE but they also have your paint code in touchup, rattle can and professional spray: Vespa 928/A Yellow at ColorRite.com. Good luck and post pictures of your project.

I had a couple of rock chips on my GT200, so I just needed a tiny amount if touch up paint. Ended up buying a nailpolish-size quantity from a UK seller on eBay for just s few dollars. He had hundreds of excellent reviews and all the Vespa color codes.

Anyways, the color match was good. The included applicator brush was convenient. The touch up paint's held fine for the last year, or so. Might be another option if you just need a bit of paint.

Piaggio has, or had, touchup paint in small applicators that are perfect for scratches. Scooterwest probably has it or can get it, if it's still available.

For those in the Uk, RS Bikepaints are a good source for touch up paint and spray cans.
