Did you charge it in reverse, install it in reverse, is there voltage, and did you blow one of the fuses in the process? You need to be ruthlessly methodical.

That sounds like you've blown the main fuse by installing the battery the wrong way round...

Hi All,

Yes I definitely blew the fuse as I had taken it out to address the Lighting issue i was speaking of and wasn't sure which fuse it was so i wanted to replace all of them and then forgot and attempted to start the bike with them out. That's all sorted now and the lights are all working as well.

I still am getting no revving on the bike though, it does so when i spray cold start fluid in the intake and then shows grey smoke coming from the exhaust for a little bit, but I assume that is the burning of the cold start spray as the smoke soon stops and the carb is still dry.

I sprayed the cold spray on the outside of the intake manifold, to see if it absorbed the moisture when I started the bike but it didn't so I don't think there's a leak there and when I used a vacuum pump on the fuel line gas came out, but gas isn't coming out when attempting to start the bike up.

I'm lost now and I might just take it in to a work shop to have a look, which i hate as they ALWAYS try and rob you blind and i just like to know how to DIY it for future ref to be honest, but hey!

Thanks EVERYONE, if any extra tips do comment as maybe I've just missed something in my frustration.
Cheers!
