I've been trying to figure out how to best set up my new shocks that are multi adjustable for compression, dampening and rebound, but haven't really found much online.

I finally found some info in a BGM shock manual that was in German. I used google translate to translate the pages on setting up the shocks and adjusting. This should be enough to apply the same principles to my SIP shocks. Plus there is a little blurb about adjusting shocks in a SIP document I found.

Both documents attached below.

If anyone else has some tips for adjusting these types of shocks, please share!

I want to make sure I understand where the correct settings are on specifically my SIP shocks. So i've attached photos pointing out what I believe each adjustment is. Let me know if I've got these wrong.

Love this post - though I am too lazy to read and understand all of it.
Hopefully someone will boil it down a bit.
🙂

At least now I know which one is compression and which one is return!
Thanks!

The only one I know you have correct is spring preload. the rest is mystery, I don't have them fancy shocks like you big city folks.
