Im buying myself a couple of sets of mirrors for my 300 super. My question is do the BAR END mirrors make the scooter too wide to lane split, in order to scoot forward to the front of the line when waiting at a light?

My second question is, are the stems of the 'SHORTY" mirrors too short to mount a phone holder?

It depends on the type of bar end mirrors, or rather the way the mirror mounts. I've been considering some Rizoma bar end mirrors that don't add much width, if any. Other bar end mirrors look like they can add several inches to each side of the scooter.

The protruding mirrors are dangerous, they widen the silhouette of the scooter and it is more difficult to avoid obstacles on the sides, especially in heavy traffic.

As someone who used them on motorcycles in the past, order 2 sets as you will break at least one until you get used to them.
