Looks like there is no choice but to wear that white jacket as it incorporates the scooter's rear lights, brake light and indicators. With all those electrics the jacket will have to go on the 'gentle' cycle in the washing machine.

I don't know.. think it might be dry clean only and we all know how much of a PITA that is.

As far as looks, maybe. However this is pretty far removed form being a Ruckus. BMW is pretty serious about it's C segment and as someone that had a C650GT I can tell you that was a great scoot. When I can't handle a K1600GT anymore I will probably go back to one or the latest C Evolution.

I would ride that in a heartbeat - if it was not too expensive own one for sure. Love my Vespa but we are in the 21st Century and forever moving forward*

On a more serious note - this is a true city-only scoot.
The target user group is defined to ride 12km (~7,5miles) per day.

That explains a bit the looks too: they fully agree that e.g. ergonomics has been sacrified for practicality, as the user is not supposed to spend long stints on the saddle.

Also this is rather an "easy to use" than excellent to ride scoot, not that these features are fully exclusive. E.g. the fact that the center of gravity is low to enable places for storage helps with the handling too.

So not a highway machine, but rather aiming for the booming city-only electric vehicle markets in many places.
