We own a 04 ET2, starter motor wasn't engaging just clicking from the relay. I tested the relay and is getting 12v and when brake pulled in to start the power to starter is receiving 12 v. just the click of the relay. the 7.5 fuse is fine, looking to pull the starter and can not figure out how it is accessed. I can see it tucked up under the center stand, can someone please give me some advice on how to pull the starter? Looks like the stand needs to be removed. Thanks in advance.
It sounds like your battery is low. It should be 12.5+ volts and when you go to start it it shouldn't go below to volts. Try charging it up to full before you start pulling the starter motor. You can also pull the connector off of the relay and arc across the 2 power points on the connector and see if the starter spins. If it spins but doesn't catch then go to the bendix and see if it's working. All of this is much easier than pulling the starter motor.
