Modern Vespa

I am having an issue with fuel. My GTS 250 scooter will run about two blocks and then dies. I replaced some filter screen under the fuel tank per an article I found but that didn't make any difference. If it sits a day it will start right up but only runs a bit till the fuel in the line us used up. It is like there is something not letting the fuel out of the tank.

Sorry to hear you have an issue with your bike.

It sounds more like a fuel pump issue causing the problem. Many GTS250 did indeed need new fuel pumps under warranty. The bikes would cut out, often when hot, and then restart after waiting a while. The problem would get progressively worse until the bike displayed symptoms remarkably like yours. How long have you had the bike? Do you know if the fuel pump was replaced?
